Location: Dublin, Ireland

In the heart of Dublin’s dynamic Docklands, Beckett Hotel opens its doors in 2021 with a story to tell — one where every detail is crafted to welcome, inspire, and connect.

For this 241-key destination, we had the privilege of designing the guest bedrooms, curating and styling the front-of-house spaces, and creating intimate activation moments along the guest journey. The bedrooms draw inspiration from the working life of Dublin’s port — from the bold blue and rush tones of shipping containers arriving from across the world, to the raw, honest materials that speak to the docks’ industrious spirit. Each room offers a quiet retreat, layered with rich textures and subtle references to the city’s ever-evolving waterfront.

In the social spaces, we curated a collection of art and objects that ground Beckett in its local context, while offering guests moments of discovery and reflection. Styling was approached with a purposeful hand, allowing the Docklands’ energy and the literary spirit of Beckett himself to weave naturally through the interiors.

To activate the journey through the hotel, we created a series of moments designed to enrich the guest experience. One such corner near the reception invites guests to slow down and immerse themselves — a vinyl listening station curated with carefully chosen records, offering the opportunity for a “me moment,” where guests can lose themselves in music and enjoy a pause from the pace of travel.

At Beckett, every space is a chapter; together, they create a place that feels both deeply rooted and effortlessly modern — a true reflection of Dublin today.
