Brief Project Description: Locke de Santa Joana is a distinctive lifestyle aparthotel in Lisbon,blending the historical charm of a 17th-century convent with contemporary design. Situated near Marquês de Pombal and Avenida da Liberdade, this property offers a unique fusion of heritage and modernity. The site is composed of 4 different buildings including 3 new builds and the existing convent. We have led the interior design of the FOH spaces through a programme of three restaurants, two members clubs, two outdoor terraces, two bars, one pool area, one fitness gym, one lobby reception and retail space, one coworking space. In 2025, Locke de Santa Joana was honored with the «Best Opening» award at the Wallpaper*Design Awards, acknowledging its exceptional design and successful integration of historical and contemporary elements. We drew inspiration of the vibrant colours of Lisbon and lush greenery to recreate a sanctuary that is fun, vibrant and inspiring.
