Nestled on the top floor of a Victorian mansion building in the heart of Maida Vale in London, we have designing the full refurbishment of this park-facing stunning two bedroom apartment.
We have been very fortunate to work for an open minded client and worldwide traveller with a passion for African art. It was paramount for us to create a calm sanctuary, where our client could regenerate and ground herself in a restful home that reflects her personality while living in a busy and vibrant city.
Muted hues and textural yet bright and light finishes have been carefully assembled to create a backdrop for the unique client’s artwork collection and to enhance the nomadic and natural personality of the interiors.
The furniture is a curation of vintage pieces and icons of design, creating a timeless yet personal interior. Many of the fittings and fixtures have been sourced and designed through the interior designers' network of talented artisans and craftsmen, but also in collaboration with Dodds & Shute, a procurement house known for their sustainable engagements and dedications, in providing local and EU based suppliers to their clients.
